Video production for bootstrapping startups

Making videos has traditionally been a long, technical and arduous process.. but this is 2009 – we can all record video on our digital cameras and every new computer has the apps you need to chop it up, add a title and a tune.

Steve had an idea at Rentoid for an ad this afternoon and we knew there was no point just talking so the guys went outside to grab the bike and I got the camera and we were done. Luke ripped it up in Windows Movie Maker – 15 minutes later it is on Youtube and people are sending it all over the web.

No joke, this is the first and only take. What do you think?
